Course loan

Options
I took out a loan 3yrs ago with the aim of becoming a electrician. The training provide Train4trades sent out a training advisor to register me and complete a loan application.  The loan provider is a company called Caledonian Consumer Finance.

Shortly after the course started I found out the course was not for me, as it was mostly distance learning, with very little tutor engagement.  However I was stuck with a £7K loan which I'm still playing off.

Is there a way I can cancel this loan? I understand the training company may have breached FCA rules by canvassing off site, by visiting my home. Also by not being a broker, and not being authorised to enter any financial agreement with me. Is this the case?

Many thanks?

Very unlikely. You were fine to sign the agreement at your home, or any other location. It gave you a cooling off period that you wouldn't have got at their premises, but that has long passed.

Do you have a link to their site or terms?  It will have been CCF you entered into an agreement with for the finance. The training company will have been an introducer.
