Housing executive waiting list - East Belfast

Options
Hi
I'm on the housing executive waiting list for house in East Belfast. I currently have 100 points via my circumstances but been told areas I'm needing are 40-70 people in front of me which could take years possibly. I currently sleeping on my aunts sofa and have my child with me on weekends he's 14 and has autism so how can they justify this as acceptable. Any advice grateful as I'll not gain any further points.
Thanks

try contacting your MLA see if they can help?
    Widen your area of choice.
    You might try private rental?
The problem is the availability of social housing.   You have your son with you at weekends but other families on the list have children with them 24/7 and may need homes.
  • Thank you I may try MLA never thought of that!!
I've most East Belfast covered however due to financial situation cant afford private rent but I understand other families has full time children living with them.
