Erudio - deferment threshold

Hello,
Wonder anyone can advise..
I took out 4 student loans between 1997 and 2001. They were later sold to Euridio. I have always deferred due to earning under the threshold.  My current deferment ends at the end of this month, but I am currently covering a colleagues maternity leave and will be earning a full time wage until the end of Nov 2020. Whilst June to Nov I will be earning over the monthly threshold, I will not earn the annual income threshold. I called and was honest with them but they have said I must pay. I was told I will have to continue paying until Feb 2020 when I can apply to defer again.  Frustratingly, I was told had I just sent my p60 from last year, i could have deferred but my call counted as a “disclosure”. My husband is just about to lose his job so I really wanted just to check whether I have any grounds to challenge this on the basis that I will not earn above the annual threshold from June to June 2021?  Thank you.
