Thank you for confirming my suspicions. This kind of thing was very common with early "fly by night" payday lenders, you would unwittingly apply for a small payday loan on a broker site, a fee would be charged for that, then, once you were passed to the lenders site, as well as ridiculas interest being charged, you were hit with another charge to actually have your money deposited, your only other option was to wait up to 7 days for it to hit your bank, which desperate people are not going to do.So your £100 borrowed, was actually around £60 by the time you got the money. Most of those companies were fraudulant, just out to make as much money as they could, then scarper.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. yes i have just last week, first they wanted £25 which you had to go to the rapido sight and buy a £25 voucher then send the proof of purchese to them, after doing that they then asked for a further £55 which they said would be refunded, fortunatly i never went ahead with it, meanwhile inbetween all this they left you hanging on the phone with complete silence for 15-20mins at a time. its the first time ive ever been scammed and i hope its the last. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!Karenh60 said:Has anyone ever heard of or had any dealings with Bolt Financial Services?0 -
