Mortgage deed after offer..leasehold.

Hi
I'm a first time buyer and buying a flat (leasehold) on my own so all this is a bit alien to me.
I had my mortgage offer last week finally after waiting paitently since march and today recieved a letter from solicitors for coming into the office to sign the deeds.
Bit confused, should I be seeing the lease agreement, fixings, search details before signing any deeds?
I feel like I'm missing a big step?
I've not had any communication of this and as far as I'm aware, I've just heard the searches are back but no documents have been seen apart from environmental search and water report.
What's the next process, should I request this from the solicitor before? Or do they generally walk me through this before signing the deeds. From my understanding I'm agreeing the loan, but then its binding, so what If i didnt agree with any contracts through leaseholders?
Thanks
Becky

All of the things need to happen, but they don't need to happen in any particular order. Nothing is binding unless and until completion happens. Doesn't matter how far in advance of completion you sign anything.
