It's probably been an old warez site that the name has expired on but was getting traffic / spidered. Much easier to build a business up using a previously used domain name rather than a new one.

I don't know the full story behind it but apparently when the domain was registered retro and warez were the two top searched for items.

The guy that runs the site is a well respected member of ebay drstevew who at the time of writing has almost 55 thousand positive feedback. 43 thousand unique.
I don't think he is in any need of touting for maybe half a dozen sales on here.

The post looked iffy, I reported it so site admin could review and dispose of it if necessary its still here end of story.

I will continue to report any posts that look suspect and leave admin to decide whether or not it is, as for the "duly reported" note this was added to advise others who may wonder about the post that it had been reported and it was not necessary for them to do so and overload admin as a result of repetition as requested by the admin team on many many occasions in many many threads.

I stand by my post, the post did look iffy in that it referred solely to an individual ebay account and the url supplied implied pirated material by the use of the term "warez"

In response to your comments kinster it was not a knee jerk reaction but a considered warning to others to tread carefully until admin had an opportunity to review the post, I obviously don't think I know it all or I would have made a clear statement that it was dodgy and not that it looked dodgy and lastly it is not my place to investigate posts it is the admin teams hence my referral to them.

Very nearly bought from this company as the prices are good! However I noticed as I started registering that they do not use a secure connection, so use with caution (if at all). Personally I would not!

It's a shame because there were quite a few bargains that I would have liked...
Better safe than sorry in this day and age though!
