1. Scope of application

1.1 By taking part in the activity, the participant shall accept these conditions.

2. Organizer

2.1 The organizer of the activity is Huawei Technologies (UK) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter: “Organizer”).

3. Eligibility for Participation

3.1 The activity is open to all persons who, at the date of entry, are aged 18 years or over; whose country of residence is the United Kingdom.

3.2 The Organizer’s employees, their immediate family members, and employees of cooperation partners who are or were involved in creating or implementing the activity, are excluded from participation.

3.3 Participation is only possible on one’s own behalf and joint submissions are not allowed. There is a restriction of one entry per person.

4. Participation

4.1 Participation in the activity is free of charge and does not require the purchase of goods and/or services.

4.2 The activity “HONOR 9A Early Bird” (herein: “the activity”) starts on 18th June, 2020 (00:00 GMT+1) and ends on 24th June, 2020 (23:59 GMT+1). Entries received outside of this date/time shall not be considered.

4.3 To participate in the activity, the participants need to do the following:Submit your response to the questionnaire at: https://www.hihonor.com/unitedkingdom/honor-9a.html, ensuring you include your email address.

4.4 Submissions containing any defamatory, obscene, illegal, offensive, or any other unsuitable material will be disqualified by the Organizer. Submissions sent in through agents, third parties or multiple accounts will be disqualified.

4.5 The Organizer accepts no responsibility for incomplete, incorrectly completed, lost or delayed entries to this activity or for any malfunctions or failures in the software that has been designed to maintain the participant's details.

4.6 The Organizer reserves the right to exclude a participant who violates these Conditions of Participation, tampers with the activity, or makes false representations or statements that violate applicable law or infringe third-party rights. If a participant is excluded, prizes and benefits may be subsequently revoked and reclaimed. In this case, a new winner will be determined pursuant to the procedure in section 5.2.

5. Prizes, determination and notification of winners

5.1 Ten winners will each receive a HONOR 9A.

5.2 The winners will be determined by random selection (draw) amongst all valid entries of the prize draw.

5.3 The winner will be notified via email sent to the email address provided by the winner at the time of entry between 25th June 2020 and 27th June 2020.

5.4 The notified winner will be required to respond to the email within two (2) weeks to confirm their acceptance of the prize and provide their contact details, including which UK address they would like their prize delivered to. If they do not provide this in-formation within that time, a new winner will be drawn.

5.5 The winner agrees to allow the Organizer to use their name and county of residence to announce the winner of the prize on the HONOR WEBSITE. The winner may object to their name or county of residence being published or request for the amount of information being published to be reduced.

5.6 The Winners will be responsible for any taxes or charges incurred in claiming the prize.

5.7 Prizes are subject to availability and the Organizer reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Organizer’s control make it necessary to do so.

5.8 The prize will be delivered within 30 days of the winner’s acceptance and Organizer’s receipt of the winner’s details as per section 5.4.

5.9 Compensation of the prizes in cash, their exchange, or their transfer to other persons are excluded.

5.10 The Organizer does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.

6. Miscellaneous

6.1 The Organizer’s decisions regarding all promotional matters will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

6.2 In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Organizer, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or technical) affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion or the awarding of prizes, the Organizer reserves the right to cancel or amend these terms and conditions at any stage without further notification to the participants, but will endeavour to minimize the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.

6.3 If any provision of these Conditions of Participation is held invalid by any law, rule, order or regulation of any government, or by the final determination of any court of a competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the enforceability of any other provisions not held to be invalid.

6.4 All legal relationships arising because or in connection with these terms and conditions and the activity are subject to English law.
