NatWest have Declined my application Due to affordability too!! Been since 8th I applied and had valuation done etc. Broker is trying to ask why but he said it’s via email only. Mine got declined on affordability, they said they would not take into to account any OT, that’s been consistent for 10 years and I now no longer earn enough.0

How much were you borrowing? What did broker advise? I was asking for 128k on a purchase and broker told me to wait for another reply as he asked if I could lend near the amount before I resubmit application again. Just wondering how long the timeframe was before you knew you were declined? Ours has been going on for a while now and still no news... NatWest have come back to ask for more things as I’m on maternity and want to ensure I’m going back on full time hours but do you think they would have already declined if they were going to?

Our Natwest declined at DIP for these codes, anyone know what they mean, only because they are different?
