Driving license renewal

I sent my documents to DVLA in 25th May as I hold an Irish passport so could not do it online,  I had to send my passport, driving Licence and marriage certificate, at the time I wasn’t aware of the extension and my licence needed to be renewed by 8 June, I cannot speak to anyone as they are not dealing with anyone who is not a key worker but I need some form of identification to get a job, any advise please

I sent a form back for family member to renew their over 70s licence in March and we still haven't received the new one. The site says they're still waiting for the form but we sent all the docs signed for and have tracking to show it was delivered in March. I did get through to somebody on the chat by continually clicking that the answers weren't helpful and was advised that they do have our docs and renewal will be dealt with in due course but there's no timescale whatsoever as to when it might happen !!

Btw just thought i'd let you know that the new license arrived today 22/6/20 although it stated that they were still awaiting forms until yesterday. This evening it's update to license issued. HTH.
