Kensington Mortgage Application Timescale - Covid-19

My partner and I have applied for a mortgage with Kensington, due to myself having a few late payments in the last twelve months. My partners credit history is very good, and he has a current mortgage to which we both have been paying. We are now looking to move to another property, with both our names on the mailbox (so to speak). 

We initially got a decision in principle with Kensington back in March, but as a result of the covid pandemic, we were unable to sell our property as quickly as we anticipated. Following the market re-opening, we sold are property. Our mortgage adviser ran the decision in principle again on Wednesday, and all was well with regard to affordability. He then submitted the full application last Thursday (11th June 2020). We were not able to apply as soon as we sold our property, due to Kensington not being on the market for new builds at that time, they have only recently re-opened the doors to this. 

I understand that Kensington can be very particular and often come back with a long string of questions. However, I wondered if anyone has had any success since they re-opened their doors, and how long it took them to get their application approved or responded to.

I have heard success stories being a little as eight days, but this was pre-covid.
