Nationwide 95% LTV

I wad just wondering if anyone has applied for this morgages with nationwide and is this actually available. I assumed 95% had disappeared judging by comparison sites. Even on there it states that its previous lenders. However, unless im missing something obvious i cant see on their site. I could ring up but id imagine theyre extremely busy. I was just wondering if anyone was going through that process.
Thanks

  • Are you using a help to buy ISA? We had this problem a few weeks ago, if you untick the HTB box it should display the proper results.
  • Nationwide are currently offering 95 LTV but only if you call them direct. I think it says somewhere on their website that you need to call them for anything less then 85 LTV. TBF I was only on hold for about 15 mins before getting through to someone but the process did take about 40 mins just for the DIP and they are not taking into account overtime and commission and I don’t think the rates were great but I suppose it depends how much you want it! I think we were offered 60 grand less then our pre lockdown DIP due to all the criteria changes! Also from Thursday they are withdrawing New customer mortgages over 85 LTV so if you have a property in mind you need to act quick!

Does this mean you're safe if you already started your application with them prior to Thursday? And already had a DIP?

Full mortgage application will have to have been submitted, not enough to just be at DIP stage
