Unfortunately the same media also have a serious/horrible go at those of us who have reached retirement age.  Part & parcel of the current attitude of divide & conquer.  Designed to stop people uniting in believing that something is wrong.  Surely if something is not right then it doesn't matter if you are 18 or 80 it is still not right.  Violence is not right, stealing is not right, many other things are not right.  Deliberately hurting someone for whatever reason is not right.  Although how we got to this on this particular thread is "interesting" as I have seen no particular "put downs" of young people.  I will await the posts correcting me though!
