Medically retired

I am new to this, so please be gentle.

i am currently medically retired and in receipt of two work pensions.

my question is, is there anything that would stop me taking on a suitable job if an employer was to agree. Or  will this not be permitted due to me being medically retired. I am 40 years old.
any advice would be helpful.

Robert.

You'd need to check with the providers of your work pensions. It will depend entirely on the rules of each scheme (i.e. they won't necessarily be the same). Some ill health pensions are reviewable and may be suspended or discontinued if the individual is well enough to get any form of paid work; other ill health pensions, once awarded, are payable for life regardless.
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!
