I just wanted to say a massive THANK YOU to the people on this forum who regularly answer the queries/questions/calm the fears of those of us who are in this situation. I have found the non-judgmental advice invaluable over the last year and a bit. I had to declare BR last June and have just been discharged. I can't tell you how relieved I feel to not be worrying about money all the time! If it is consuming you, like it did for me, please have a look at the best way you can change your situation. That might not necessarily be BR but you have to be realistic. Ask Stepchange, ask people on here, but don't just sit around feeling the weight of the world getting heavier and doing nothing about it. I can honestly say it was the best decision for me at the time and I don't regret it all. Once you have done it, you can start thinking about what really matters.....

Same here, went BR 12th July last year. Counting down the days till discharge! I’ve gone from having calls and letter nearly everyday, dreading the post, dreading answering withheld numbers and scared at knocks on my door. To nothing no calls, no letters. Life is so much happier.0
