mortgage question

Has anyone had any success securing a mortgage without 3 years uk address history or when coming back to uk? I have been back for 18 months and I’m looking to get a mortgage asap. Kept a forwarding address (family home) in uk throughout my time away so no gaps in credit report. Specifically looking at adverse lenders (precise, Aldermore, Kent reliance or pepper).
TIA 😄

Why adverse - worth checking if you need an adverse lender as some mainstream lenders do allow a bit of adverse depending on what it is and when
anyway looking at the lenders mentioned
precise - 36 months
kensington - 24
aldermore - 24
kent - 36
pepper - 36
bluestone - 12 (but ouch)

Thank you. I have a few late payments from 2017 and a 2 year old default of almost £2000 (satisfied in full) so I think I will need to go with an adverse lender. 😟haras_n0sirrah said:Why adverse - worth checking if you need an adverse lender as some mainstream lenders do allow a bit of adverse depending on what it is and when

with a default of that size I think unless you will consider bluestone you would need to wait until you have been 24 months in the uk to access more lenders1

I had an almost 3 year old default for £7k (fully satisfied) with a few odd late payments about 18 months ago and we’ve had just had a Natwest approval (with HTB)grace765 said:

Ok, thanks for the info. Are bluestone ok with 2 year old defaults?haras_n0sirrah said:with a default of that size I think unless you will consider bluestone you would need to wait until you have been 24 months in the uk to access more lenders0 -
I believe they are ok with anything over 6 months. Happy to check as not used them since pre covid and now is a completely different ball game to 6 months ago
