Are total 90 trainers worth the money

I always buy my son cheap trainers but they dont last two months without being torn or the stitching coming undone he is 10 years old with size 6 feet and a very active child.

He wants total 90 trainers cheapest I have seen is £30 which is double what I normally pay, are they worth the extra money? are they better quality?

I always say "you get what you pay for".

I would say they are worth the money, also have you tried M&M sports etc.

and you forget the excellent sports soccor. My kids go through trainers like a knife through butter. So they have 'footy trainers' as it disintergrates them and 'Sunday' trainers. They then move a pair into 2nd position as 1st pair decline in looks. Then its new trainers time e.g holiday or birthday. If you can get them at b/day or xmas you might find a relative will get them as their present and that works out the best value.

I dont mind paying the extra money if they last longer will try M&M sports.

You dont always get what you pay for Roman what about LFC paid 10 million pounds for Heskey.

my 2 girls always have total 90s from sports soccer. Not expensive at all. Sometimes need to keep checking for sizes but wouldnt buy them from anywhere else.

Talked to a sales assistant in one shop he said the styles and colours vary every 3 months in the football season at the moment some of the shops like my local sports soccer have none in stock.

When the new styles are out the prices are £40-50 then the old styles are reduced depending on stock availability, example my local Brantano selling silver total nineties £21 in childs sizes only due to plenty of stock adults are full price my child size is in the adult range.

Its a case of being in the right place at the right time to pick up a bargin.

My kids play a lot of football in the road and I find the Nike 90 don't get wrecked as quick as their adidas white trainees.
    Would definitely recommend.

I got my son some "Total 90" trainers for £25 (Sportsworld Bracknell) on the weekend. They look just like any other trainers to me, probably all made in the same factory in Vietnam and just put different stickers on. Totally overpriced IMO especially as workers in said factory probably on tuppence a day. Will probably fall to bits next month just like every other pair of trainers. (Cheery bloke ain't I)

If you've been buying really cheap trainers off the market then probably Nike will be better quality, if you can get them from a discount shop. However "quality" is relative and I don't think Total 90s are good quality at all.

My son has always had Clarks leather trainers, I wait for the sales and get his
current size and the next size up for about £30 for two. I did once give in to his pleading and get him Nikes, they were rubbish quality, more expensive, and didn't fit properly. The stupid thing is, the nasty wretches in his class STILL didn't think his Nike trainers were good enough, because they all knew they were last season's design. It's not good enough just to have the right label it has to be bang up to date.

Recently he wheedled so we went looking at Total 90s. Even if I could find some for under £20 I wouldn't buy them! They're made entirely of PLASTIC  ! Children's feet (and adults for that matter) need leather or fabric to breathe properly. If I want to buy him plastic plimsoles I'll get them in Woolworths.

He came up with the usual kids' complaint "Lots of children in my school have Total 90s :( " to which I replied "Lots of kids in your school have nits, it doesn't mean you have to join in  "
