I wanna buy a laptop but does John Lewis have Jan sales?

Hi all
I hope this is the right forum!
I have some gift vouchers for John Lewis and I want to treat myself to a new laptop.
However as its just for me, I can wait until January to get one.
So my question is... do John Lewis normally reduce things like laptops after Christmas or shall I just order now?
Many thanks for any advice. I've never really looked at JL sales so have no idea what to do

JL have always started their January Sale on the 27th December, thus would expect the same date this year.
As to what the sale is like for laptops i have no idea, but worth the wait and see.0 -
Oh well thats not bad then, whatever happened to January sales starting in January!
Its only a few weeks and I dont think JL has any offers on at the moment so theres nothing to lose by holding onto my vouchers a little longer!
Thank you0 -
Well I went into JL Nottingham yesterday just for a look around but I couldnt have spent my vouchers if I had wanted to... the laptops in my range were sold out.
They had a couple of ex display ones but when I priced checked them they were quite expensive compared to websites selling them.
Roll on the 27th, I really hope they reduce them now!!0 -

Aghhh - shame you're up north.
Just noticed JL have opened their 1st outlet store, though it's in Swindon.

Wonder if anyone nearby has visited and can give us some feedback on whats it like?0 -
Oooh thanks for alerting me to that!
If its a great place I may take a trip down there for a day out. I need bedroom furniture... well I need everything that JL sells!
So has anyone visited it??0 -
JL does a price match
'never knowingly undersold'
If you see a product you like from supplier that has a physical premises they will usually price match it!

On a side note, if you do pop down there for the day, make sure you visit the Matalan Clearance Store, which is on one of the roundabouts off the M4 towards the outlet village.
Not many people know about it as it's not in the outlet village but it's well worth a visit. We've never really seen anything for more than £5 in there;)0
