Hi everyone,
Could anyone answer a quick question for me please? I recently seen the new advice regarding mis-sold guarantor loans and when I went to use the tool to help my lender wasn’t listed there (1plus1 loans).
does anyone know if they fall under this?

If you have a complaint, you simply send it to the lender, rather than using any special tools.1

It was the tool on the MSE site I was trying to use. I was wondering if because they aren’t listed in the drop down option if they do not fall under the category of miss selling companies0

No. Resolver is just a list of poorly collected email addresses for companies. It's useful if you're not particularly worried if your complaint gets to the company in question.
There is no 'category of mis-selling companies'.1 -
Ah nice one mate! Thanks 👍🏻0

Hi,

I have just received this email after sending my complaint letter. Is this something I must do? I think expecting someone to remember the ins and outs of their financial circumstances 4/5 years ago is a bit of joke if I’m honest!Appreciate any help, this had kind of scared me off a bit but I think that’s what it is meant to do maybe?0 -
Do you think you fibbed about your income when you applied?
If not, I would just reply that your answers would have been accurate at the time, if you cannot remember the information you gave.0 -
No not all but definitely can't remember the info I gave there and then. That's a good point, I will try going back to them with a reply along those lines and see what I get back. Thanks

So I have went back to them following your advice @Deleted_User, thank you

Out of curiosity I followed the link they sent and it is actually me giving them 1 time access to my bank records for the last 3 years!! That seems pretty extreme to me lol0
