I went into boots tody & spent £50 worth of points on presents so I have a few more birthday and xmas presents sorted.

I also forgot to say I get most of my birthday cards fro our work "shop" where they cost me 20p each!!!

    Can I join in?

I do try and get presents as bargains but I want to try even harder this year! This is my list to remind me.

    Mom b'day
    dad b'day
    Bro b'day
    MIL b'day
    FIL b'day
    DS (age 3) b'day
    OH b'day
mothers day for both mom and MIL
Fathers day for both dad and FIL
Christmas presents for all of above

cards for all of above on occasions + 30 cards at Xmas

5 small presents for friends occasions and 5 small presents for DS parties

    so far:
3 bottles of wine for my moms' b'day from pigsback points :j
new boots card opened and will use points for gifts

Have bottle of smellies and nice box of chocolates put to one side for friends presents.
I'm sure i have some garden centre gift vouchers somewhere, so plan on buying pretty teacups in charity shop and planting with spring bulbs/herbs for mothers day presents. (teacups less than 50p each).

Going to use freecycle and ebay for DS gifts, I've put a load of his old stuff up there so will see if anyone has anything their kids have grown out of.

hello welcome newbies and well done "oldies" ! i have just got a belated xmas present which was £20 high street vouchers which I might be tempted to spend on myself, or possibly save them for a gift for someone, can spend them in argos and boots etc. which is great!

done a few surveys, onepoll is quite a good one it seems...

I found quidco quite good, if you sign up and go through the list ignore the ones that are maked %, go for money, I conned my parents into signing up, so were going to split any profit 50/50, got £13.00 on 1st day.

I've been working a few hours doing dull filing things for a company.

Can I put that money towards my total? Or is that cheating?

also guys onepoll is a good, quick, easy to use, frequent survey site, quick surveys for 10-20p and regular, I have started about 2 weeks ago and have £6.45, you need £40 for a payout but lots of people have reached this I think - so start now for xmas!!!!

    Hi jamtart6,
    Do you know what the payout is with onepoll is it in cash or vouchers,etc;

Am doing well with other survey sites so I thought I'd try this one - all saving towards christmas and birthdays thanks to your challenge.
