Mortgage Offer Error Advice

I’m hoping someone can offer advice as my mortgage broker is on holiday until Tuesday and I am really stressed. My wife and I finally received a mortgage offer from TSB this afternoon but have spotted the solicitor isn’t the one we sent to the broker but was the one we used for a re mortgage a few years ago. I have contacted the broker to ask her to change it and contacted TSB but they told me the broker has to make the change. All other details are correct.
Will the change now mean we are back to square one with the application and need to go through the process again or does TSB update the offer and reissue it to us? We are due to exchange next Friday so am really stressed about it needing to go back to application stage as we won’t have time to do this. This is our second offer although a different lender as the first lender (HSBC) were unhappy with something in the lease for the flat we are buying!

Unlikely that you will exchange contracts next Friday if your choosen solicitor hasn't even received a mortgage offer yet!0

I have resigned myself to that after speaking to the solicitor this afternoon. That aside, will the mortgage offer need to be re-reviewed by TSB (i.e. back to application/underwriting) or will they update with new solicitor details and automatically send the offer out to my wife and I, and our solicitor? This is what I am most concerned about now is it could cause further delays and the vendor is threatening to go back on the market.Thrugelmir said:Unlikely that you will exchange contracts next Friday if your choosen solicitor hasn't even received a mortgage offer yet!0 -

Tsb allow brokers to log in and amend solicitors details directly. Should be another 48 hours for the case to be picked up and changed and then the offer will be issued. Should have a new offer by this time next week really if broker sorts it on tuesday0

Thank you so much. Does this mean the offer is just reissued without the need for any more assessment? I’m so grateful for your reply.Deleted_User said:Tsb allow brokers to log in and amend solicitors details directly.
