Hi all, back to comping after a long hiatus.
Posted a comp today, it was a dupe, I posted a topic on here today and that was a dupe, what a donut.
Sorry all, i will still try to post comps that I find, is there a quick way of searching if it's already been posted?
I shall now go back to the corner now with my dunce hat on.

For the one you posted,
You are on the Competitions Time main board. At the top of the page there is a list of page numbers for the boards pages and just to the right of these numbers is a small magnifying glass. Click on that magnifying glass and a search box pops up. This box will only produce results from the Competitions Time board (If you are on another board/sub board, say in Game Over, it will only produce results for that board/sub board)
Type the name of the site as it appears in the url, i.e. parkleisure, into that box and click Search.
This will then take you to a page with the search fields at the top and the search results at the bottom.
These search results will show any previous posts for that site but it will produce a result for the starting posts and any replies. For the search we are doing, it produces One-Eye's original post, your post and a reply post to your post. Any reply posts can simply be removed by going back up to the Search fields and for the line headed "what to search", deselect replies (the box changes from blue to white) then click the search box at the bottom of the search fields. This will then return the results with only thread starting posts. In this case, yours and One-Eye's.
If there's a number of posts for that particular site you may have to look through them but it should be easy to spot if one is the one you want to post.
It may look complicated when typed out like this but it's really quite straight forward. Try it out.
There are other ways to search and other enhancements but that's the simplest way to do a search for a comp in the current comps list.
For safety, you could do another search using any unusual word that MUST be in the comp post but these days many posters only post the url without any details which makes that an unreliable method.3
