Curry paste sachets?

Is it possible to buy curry paste in individual portion sachets?  I seem to regularly throw away half used jars of curry paste (and pesto) due to not wanting the same meal again or forgetting they are tucked away in the fridge.
Alternatively, can part used jars be frozen, and if so do I just defrost them before use?

Some people do freeze the pastes into portions.
I use dry packet spices, which may be better for you too.

Making sure the remaining paste/pesto is completely covered in oil it should last near enough forever in the fridge. I have a madras paste thats been in there at least a year.

You can buy little tubs that make enough curry for two. M&S do a Thai red and a green one and another firm -possibly Pataks- do them in different types. I have seen them in places like Poundland

If you want to freeze the bottle paste into smaller portions you could try ice cube trays and when frozen put them into a plastic box or bag and defrost the amount you want.

This is a coincidence as I have just been posting on another thread about looking into buying sauce sachets. Curry isn't a problem for me as I usualy mix my own spices but agree that left over ready sauces can be frozen successfully. For me it's things like tomato/brown sauce and mayonnaise. I don't use them that often but like to have them for certain foods occasionally (e.g. bacon sarnies and burgers) but living alone even the smallest bottles sit in the fridge for ages and take up valuable room, so I thought I might have a look online and see if I can order some of the sachets they have in cafes etc.
