Mortgage with Non-Standard Income

My husband and I had a DIP for a high street lender. He's starting a job as a Physics teacher at 0.6 from July 1st (because the cost of childcare would pretty much means he's working for free the other two days). I'm starting a teacher training course from the beginning of July too. We had an offer accepted on a property. Then they told us that they won't offer us a mortgage until they've seen proof of the payments into our accounts.
My pay is not paid consistently: I get £200 per week for the first eight weeks, then £590 on September 3rd, £2600 on October 1st, £2600 on November 1st, £2600 on December 1st, £2600 on January 1st, £590 on January 3rd, £2600 on February 1st, £1000 on February 6th, £2600 on March 1st, £2600 on April 1st, £590 on April 3rd, £2600 on May 1st, £2600 on June 1st and £2600 on July 1st.
The highstreet lender were willing accept this all in advance with proof before Coronavirus but are now saying they won't accept it until the October 1st payment goes in. By then we will obviously have lost our property. We have a £50,000 deposit (we could go up to about £55,000 but want to make sure we have some left over just in case), the property is £230,000. As science teachers, there is almost zero chance that we won't both be working full time from July 2021.
Does anyone know any lenders who would consider us?

Speak with a broker as you can give them the full circumstances, history, property price etc and they can match you with the appropriate lender.

Saves you trying to do pot luck applications.
Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.
  • Teachers Building Society might work.  They are usually great for any education stuff. Much more flexible than most for teacher pay based stuff

Broker will be able to source them and figure out if it's rhe best option
  • Our broker is already looking into everything - just thought I might find something on here as she's not having much luck. Teacher's Building Society are pretty useless for us. They'll only offer £150,000 and we have no idea where they got that figure from. I know they only accept 60% of the bursary (which seems strange considering that they're a building society specifically for teachers) but even then it's really low, they've also reduced their multiplier because of coronavirus.
