This may be a toughy at 90% LTV (in the current climate), but may be doable still.
I would recommend if you'd like to be able to just pick up the phone and speak to your Mortgage Advisor/Broker, especially if you're particularly anxious about the whole process. Change to a local Broker.
Whilst it's great L&C are free. For that reason, they're not able to provide the same level of service as independent/local brokers in my honest opinion.0 -
Don't know if this is an option for you, but you could choose to apply only in your name to get a higher LTV with Nationwide. This would mean only your income could be used for affordability though, so you'd be able to borrow less in total.0

I would prefer not to do this and not sure I would be eligible for this size of mortgage on my own. The mortgage size is roughly 66% of the amount approved in my AIP with L&C.HomeownerDreamer said:Don't know if this is an option for you, but you could choose to apply only in your name to get a higher LTV with Nationwide. If we changed to 85% LTV do you think it would open many doors? Speaking to some local brokers today they advised HSBC are the only ones offering 90% LTV however they have a 25% deposit minimum for non-eea. Perhaps there are lenders out there offering 85% with less strict LTV on non-eea nationals?0

London & Country are a broker, why do you need another one?0

Because L&C only like straight forward cases, anything other than vanilla and easy to deal with they won't touch and say the client can't get a mortgage.penners324 said:London & Country are a broker, why do you need another one?Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0 -
