Balance transfer during mortgage application

Hi all,
My husband and I are in the process of buying a new build - the build process is delayed approximately 4 months due to Covid-19. We applied for our mortgage in August 2019 but had a lot of credit card debt, so they gave us conditions to meet by completion in order to obtain the mortgage. We have enough cash savings for the deposit and solicitors fees, and are very close tp clearing the amount of credit card debt they asked for, and our credit scores have shot up!
I recived an email from one of my credit card companies this morning, offering 0% on balance transfers until May 2021. My husband has a very high interest card with a chunky balance, so transferring it would save us a sizeable amount in interest per month, clearing the debt quicker. Our offer has lapsed due to the delay in build, so we need to reapply once I am taken off furlogh by my employer.
Is doing this transfer likely to affect our chances of the re-application being successful?
Thanks,
Megan
