Mortgage and Furlough

Hi, 
Myself and my fiancé have been trying to get our mortgage application approved from before lockdown. My Fiancé was put on Furlough the day after we got a mortgage application approved and obviously he had to inform them he was on furlough so they pulled out. We recently received word that our new build property would be ready for the first week in July. Another mortgage application later which was approved and they knew my fiancé was on Furlough they said ‘not until he is back at work’ he is a trainee management accountant in the hospitality sector so won’t be back to work until atleast the middle to end of July- is there anything we can do to get the mortgage application approved now before our house is completed to ensure we get in on time?

I honestly think you should make sure your fiancé actually has a job to go back to. The last thing you want is to take out a mortgage and find yourself unable to make the payments.
