Repackaged medication

Hi, I'm hoping someone can help with my query.  I have been receiving branded medication for years through my GP but the pharmacy have started giving them to me repackaged, some boxes have foreign  language all over them, others are in completely different boxes.  I remember seeing a programme on repackaged medicines about 4 years ago and although I can't remember much about the programme now I do remember that it wasn't favourable towards repackaged meds at all.  I am going to phone the pharmacy but wondered if anyone has any info or knows anything about repackaged medications?

Is it not a case of just a different make of the same medication.
Brexit and COVID 19  have screwed up the manufacture and supply of many medicines and  pharmacies have to us different sources for them.  I have had four  different  makes  of  BP tablets in the last year.
Mine are  dispensed by my GP surgery as  the nearest pharmacy is 30 miles away.

I get a number of repeat prescriptions each month and usually, they will be a different box and maker each time.   To save money I know there is a move towards the generic rather than the named brands.   The products are exactly the same thing but one will cost perhaps £2 and the branded £8+.

Yes, it is the same as Panadol is much more expensive than the generic paracetamol, which is the same thing.
