Husband and I both going BR

Options
Hi.

I have a couple of questions about filling out the Bankruptcy form on the gov website. Hoping someone can help. They’re probably very obvious but I’ve not been able to find the answers!
We have to go BR separately, do we each half our outgoings on each form? Ie our rent is 925 a month do we each put down £462.50?
I only realised yesterday we have to do it separately so 2 sets of fees. We’ve saved the fees for one, would it be better to wait till we have the rest saved and hit go on our forms at the same time? Will it be messy for one to do then the other once the fees are saved?

Thankyou!

If you are disclosing your partners wage in the form then put the full cost of every expenses. So if your rent is 925 put that.

If you aren't disclosing your partners wage they assume a 50/50 split so put down half.

I don't know about two separate applications as I just went bankrupt myself. If you have joint debts then they will chase the one who hasn't gone bankrupt however if you are planning on doing it one month or so after it shouldn't make much difference. May be easier to wait and do it the same time but ultimately it's what you think is the best.
