Direct Pay - any strikes if he continually pays late

Hi, are there any penalties for the paying parent for late payments? And is there a system whereby direct pay is not so you move onto collect and pay. I know he needs to agree it too for the later as there's fees on both sides.

Hes doesnt need to agree to collect and pay, but you recieve less.
How late are we talking about? A day or so, probably better off doing direct pay.
A week, or weeks, do collect an pay.
But ultimately talk first - there may be valid reasons its late0
