In good news I have had a couple of Vint*d sales this months far I have an extra £12 to put towards debts and i have had 7 no spend days

    Priorities this weekend are

    Post parcel
    Laundry (always)
    Cleaning
Doing a food audit to see what i can make - deffo a roast dinner and a curry there for the weekend
Sort out my sons room and raid his wardrobe for too small clothes
Fix sons school trousers - hem has come down
Put Christmas tree in Garage, it is in its box on the kitchen table still

    Morning,

It has been another busy work week this week mixed in with a fair bit of bad news unfortunately on of my best friends husbands died this week he was 47 and its just so cruel for her and her young girls. My daughter 24 yo was diagnosed with chronic anaemia but she has also been asked to go for an ultrasound on her ovaries as she has high haemoglobin, I am really concerned but being strong for her.

In work this week I went into a meeting an overheard the end of a discussion about an Interim person coming in to cover my previous boss on Monday, I hadn't been told anything about this and it was a bit of a shock as our Directorate was broken up (rightly) after my grievance. I got really upset but turns out it was a miscommunication and i should have been informed we were staying where we are. I have asked for an update on my grievance as haven't heard anything for 3 months. I have a meeting on Friday.

I was contacted by our pensions team yesterday and was told they had made an error in my pension calculations and that they had underpaid my pot by £2k which they have now done, however they also didnt take around £500 in employee contributions which I can't afford to pay the lump sum they suggested in January.

My priorities for the weekend are

    Grocery shop
    Cleaning everything
    Going for a walk

Hoping next week is a bit better

    Nat

    Hello Natlie,

I have just read through your diary. I am sorry to read about your friends husband - 47 is no age.

Your daughter is lucky to have you as her mother as you come across as very strong during difficult situations and I am sure she will welcome your supportive. I hope the ultrasound provides some answers.

Good luck for your meeting and I hope the outcome is what you want.

Have you asked for the contributions to be spread over a number of months?

That's a lot for them to expect you to just find out the blue. Definitely ask for it to be spread out.

Hi both, will do, I think i can add into my pension a little anyway but feel I need to prioritise my debts and forthcoming expenses at the moment, it was just another surprise on top of the other things that happened this week

    Morning,

My cleaning chores are going a but better this week than last week and got my teenager to tidy her room. I did find some items to sell in my sons wardrobe and made £6 today. I am -£12 on my budget this month and need to sell some more things, still 2 weeks until payday but we have food in at least.

I spent £37 on grocery top up shop yesterday and posted a £10 V*nted sale and got a walk in. I also picked up a free side table from my local reuse group.

I am going to be doing some more cleaning today, the laundry pile is still big.

If I can find the ingredients in my cupboard I am going to make some biscoff cookies and we are having Christmas Dinner tonight will all the extra bits I froze Christmas time so that will be a treat.

The next week is going to be really busy I have 4 in person meetings so I am out Mon-Thurs and need to be really prepared with my flask and food so i don't buy anything
