Mortgage after furlough

I’ve just spilt up with the wife and am leaving the family home. I am still on the mortgage here until 31st Aug but am looking to buy as soon as possible and already have my eyes on a property that is suitable and I’ve had a decision in principle based on my standard salary that would enable me to buy it.
But like many others I’ve been on furlough since lockdown began. I am returning to work on Monday (8th June). My obvious worry how lenders are reacting to people that have been on furlough? It’s been 15 years since I bought my only house so can’t the timescales that’s things work on. When will I need to provide payslips and what are lenders accepting? If I applied now would they accept pre COVID payslips or as proof of salary along with letter from The employer to confirm return to work? Or if I wait a month I’ll have the first normal post Covid payslip as proof of returning or worse case scenario are they going to insist on three months of full income?
I don’t want to have to wait until bid September until it is worth me applying. If they are trying to restart the housing market surely there must be some leeway as to what they are expecting.
