Repatriation Charges

Our holiday in India in March was cut short by the travel company, they are now providing compensation but are making a repatriation charge..  I've tried the travel insurance company but they say this type of repatriation is not covered, can I get this repatriation charge back any other way.

If the insurance you took out doesn't cover you for repatriation then I doubt if you could do a chargeback (may be wrong but you actually were repatriated so you received the service?)    I am surprised that your insurance doesn't t.b.h. have you checked what your policy says about it?     In any event, any compensation may cover the costs you had to pay to fly back?    Unless anybody knows any different I think you might have to be happy with that.

It all depends on how the refund was calculated.
How much was the holiday?  how many nights was the holiday for?  how many nights were you there? how was money did you get back?  how much was the repatriation ? Do you know the original flight cost?
