Selling car and tax rebate to fund overseas move before BR

I have been offered a job overseas but in order to fund my expenses to move I want to sell my car and claim a tax rebate to buy flights, pay for rent when I arrive overseas and for basic living expenses and BR fee. Once settled I want to go bankrupt from overseas in about 6-9 months. I will keep records on how the car/tax rebate money was used to show the OR and surrender any unused money. Would this be allowed by the OR? Appreciate your responses, trying to decide whats my best option.

Some specifics would be helpful. How much is the debt? How much is the rebate? How much do you envisage your costs to move abroad and set yourself up would be?0

I have £55k unsecured debt. Estimate that I will get £3800 for the car and £1800 rebate. Flights and rental deposit/ will be about £5000 for myself and family and BR costs.0

Based on these amounts you should not have a problem with the OR. You are not suggesting spending sums that are material in your bankruptcy, and there is certainly an argument that these are essential and not extravagant costs as you are moving you and your family to a better life.
