Lasting Power of attorney/ trustee

Options
I just need to check the situation around power of attorney and being a trustee please.
I have lasting power of attorney over my mother’s financial affairs. She is very healthy and I don’t see her (touch wood) needing me to step in any time soon. I understand that if she were to die or not be able to conduct her financial affairs I would not be able to step in whilst in my year of bankruptcy. However, will she need to change the power of attorney and take me off or can it just remain and hope that nothing happens within my bankruptcy year?
Also, I am a trustee of my husband’s life assurance policy. The same question remains here too. Does he need to take me off in my bankruptcy year or can we just leave it on and hope that he stays alive for the next year?
Thank you in advance for your help.

To me it would be prudent for your mum to give her LPA to someone else during your bankruptcy. If the worst should happen it could be problematise is would imagine.

As for the insurance, why not ring the insurance company and ask?
