Turn around

We finally, after weeks of going back and forth, had our mortgage agreed subject to valuation back early May. Unfortunately there is a backlog of valuations to do but fast forward one month, I was informed by the vendor this was conducted yesterday. Does anyone know what sort of timescale the banks usually look to receive this info, and offer the full mortgage ?

I only ask because I’ve instructed a building survey to take place next Friday (that’s 7 working days later) and whilst I’m optimistic the valuation was fine, I’d rather not pay for it until we’ve got the full offer back.

Ordinarily, one or two working days.
These are of course, not ordinary times.
