Adverse credit history but desperate to move...

We sold our house back in 2018 and are currently renting owing to our adverse credit background. We completed a DMP 3 years ago and have 3 x defaults on file (the latest being June 2015). We have a 20k deposit and no debt. We earn 78K between us. What are the chances given the current climate of getting a mortgage? We're absolutely desperate to move and get back on the property ladder...

A lot will depend on what you're looking to borrow as mortgages come in different sizes.0

I'm assuming with a 20K deposit we can't really aim higher than 200k? Ideally we'd want more but i don't think that's realistic...0
