Letter informing creditors of bankruptcy.

Hi

I was made bankrupt at the beginning of April, I am still getting letters from the creditors asking for money and issuing defaults. I'm not sure if the official receiver has told them or not. So to try and stop some of these letters, I'm going to write to them directly informing them I'm bankrupt, but alas I'm not sure what/how to write the letter, is there a template available if not could some kind soul give me some guidance please?

It's possible that normal communications are not going out while the lockdown is on - that's the case for DROs where only those creditors who can be informed electronically are being told.

I don't have a standard letter - just give them your bankruptcy reference and make sure your account is identifiable?

As of [insert date] I was made bankrupt, the bankrupcy reference is [insert reference] and this can be checked at the Bankrupcy and Insolvency Register on the Gov.uk website. My account with yourselves was included in the bankrupcy petition. 

I respectfully request you cease communication with myself on this matter and deal with the Official Reciever, details are below

[Insert name address and contact details of the Official Reciever]

Any further communication from yourself to myself after receipt of this letter will be deemed harassment on your part and will be reported to the Financial Conduct Authority
