Work wear tax rebate

in Cutting tax
My son works part time for McDonald’s and is restarting shifts this week. He works part time and doesn’t pay tax. As it’s me who does his washing and pays for electricity, water and appliance am I eligible to claim the tax rebate? This has come about as McDonald’s have stated due to coronavirus uniforms must be washed at 60c and it suddenly occurred to me that a global multinational company is dictating how I do my washing!

No, you cannot claim a tax rebate.
Surely, you want your son to be safe by washing his uniform in water hot enough to kill any virus on them.0
