With car boot sales closed where are people selling on-line?

For a lot of people car boot sales were making up a good amount of additional income, and for others it's a big part of their income. I'm interested to know which on-line platforms people have joined due to coronavirus and which ones people are having most success with? I know there are a lot of big names out there but are there any interesting niche sites people have found too? For any type of product

Facebook local stuff for sale pages, Ebay and Amazon. Whilst niche usually means less competition it also usually means fewer customers too.0

Facebook marketplace here and doing very nicely indeed.I was selling on schpock but it seems that once you hit a couple of hundred feedback they are very aggressive trying to get sellers to sign up for a paid for account. I wasn’t able to send messages without pop up upgrade windows stripping me from proceeding and even listing was getting slow with the continual offers of cheaper upgrades.
EBay has also been very busy for me.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Ebay seems to be doing quite well for me..
Also if you`re wanting to make a few extra quid look out for some yard sales in your area as a lot of people are clearing stuff out and have no where to take it to atm since everywhere was closed. On one of my dog walks I pass a house who has been clearing out stuff during this lockdown, On Monday they had a box of about 10 DVDs out the front all going for free and then on Thursday, on the same dog walk route another house was doing a yard sale outside their house and I picked up another DVD. The next day I sold 1 DVD from the first lot and the DVD I got the day before.2017 Wins - Coco Pops, £100 Amazon voucher, Elf T-shirt, £250 Zalando Voucher and £250 FeelUnique Voucher, private gig concerts
2018 Wins - Steep xbox game, 2 tangle teezer, Contagion Book, JC Annual, water sports bottle, 10p, 2 cricket tickets, can of fizz, 10p, Ribenia, Johnson baby products0 -

I really wouldn't bother unless it was super rare and you made a fortune. There were a couple of displays in my cul-de-sac including my next door neighbour who gave me a roll of chicken wire. They're clearing out their shed and I'm pretty certain the attitude generally for most people to the question "shall we Ebay it?" is a snappy "just get rid of it"! I've given stuff to another neighbour who does car boots: I'm just pleased that something is being recycled!0

Looking at the absolute tat that is appearing on the local Facebook market pages gives me the answer to where. Most of the stuff coming up seems to be the stuff that used to be donated to jumble sales0

Without sounding dull and repetitive, it has to be Facebook groups for me also. Just check the search bar for the best ones in and around your area, try and attach a nice clear photo also for the best results.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature.
