Does anyone here have a mortgage with RBS?

Mines up for remortgage so I had a play online and cant quite believe their offering a 5 year fix at 1.21%, zero product fees and even 250 cash back?

If its too good to be true it usually is? I've read the small print abd there seems to be 271£ account set up costs but thats all?!

better get it before it goes, very competitive, some would say the best. Is it a retention  product?

However I can't see on their website nor intermediaries either, are you sure it's not a 2 year fixed?

ah it's a comparison website, they often don't update those, if it's not on the intermediary website, it's not available

retention products are usually available fro your online mortgage portal to switch without checks

    https://personal.rbs.co.uk/personal/mortgages.html

    http://www.intermediary.natwest.com/intermediary-solutions.html

I think they don't update so you would call their broker and get a fee by recommending a different product, classic bait and switch

I wish I had that rate though, best I could do was 1.08% + BOE tracker for 2 years with no fees start of Covid.
