I was just wondering if anybody had used pepper lately? I've got a few issues on my credit report hence using them. I haven't been furloughed and have a steady income. Affordability isn't an issue and have gone through a broker who seemed confident, said they had seen much worse than mine be accepted. Application has just gone in but obviously concerned! Am also wondering on timescale. Property needs a physical valuation but does anyone know just how big the backlog is?

Did you use pepper because you thought they did adverse credit?
If your using a broker, then trust them to match pepper to you

Yes I did use them due to adverse. It was my broker who suggested them. I know I should trust her but she is my second broker... First one was dreadful!! I'm not a very patient person... but I guess there is nothing to do but wait. Am more concerned about the backlog in valuations to be honest.0

Pepper are alright, they are being extra cautious at the minute. I think 2 reasons for that, there is little competition and the next few months are uncertain at best. Expect a few questions and a slower process, but I think we have a 100% application to offer ratio with them, so they do usually get there in the end (if it is not 100%, it wont be far off).I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. They dont do HTB. I think they were looking at it pre-corona but does not make sense to do it at the minute.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
