Employment law - is non-compete valid if made redundant?

6 months is a long period of time for a non-compete. There are lots of cases where the courts have held that unenforceable, even for people in pretty senior roles.dd95 said:there are some wrong answers here. The restrictive covenant is enforceable as long as it is reasonable (which 6 months is) and protects a legitimate business interest.
There is no way that would be enforceable against an average employee - you'd have to be in a very senior role. The Op hasn't said what his role involved so its difficult to make that assessment.0
