  • I've been watching this thread for aaaaages and just trying to think of an excuse to buy some of these beautiful candles - and then someone mentioned Mother's day! So that's it, I couldn't resist any longer, and have ordered some for mum and some for meeeee!! Have gone for the wax melts - banoffee, bakery mix and biscuit mix. They all look so scrummy!

Hope I haven't given you too much to do Sarah, I know you're busy, but I thought I'd get in early for Mother's day!

that wedding one looks fantastic GF!! the friend I have bought the biscuit melts for is getting married next year so I want inspiration! (Especially if she likes the biscuit melts for her birthday!) :o

have you thought about doing a mini 2/3 tiered wedding cake or something similar??
You're so very special, I wish I was special

  • ooh nice idea moose, it would probably have to be round as i don't think I would find 3 different size heart shaped silicone pans. Would it be better in the 3 layers or just plain white do you think?

I could have a fab time making lots of decorations for it :D

either I think would work, that way you have plain white for the traditionalists and, erm, maybe the layers could be made to match the colour of the wedding maybe? that extra personalised touch?? my friend's colours are burgundy and gold so could use that for example?? I think any shape would do, heart, round, square even? you could even do a mini bride and groom for the top???! :rotfl:

The Good Fairy, I picked up a tub of three different size metal loveheart cookie cutters for £1 in tesco extra, I dont know if you could adapt them to suit, they also had a two pack of deeper and heavier metal loveheart shapes for cooking with, I thought for maybe making pancakes.
    HTH FiFi :)
