Let's Talk Tablets

We've had many variants of tablet computers over the years - Asus Android, iPads, iPad Pro, Surface & Surface Pro. All have been ok, all have had their own little 'ecentricities', all would probably still work if we hadn't dropped them so frequently and broken their screens! Personally, I've liked all them for 'browsing' purposes and hated all of them for any type of serious work, much preferring the 'proper' keyboard, mouse and large screen (or two) on a PC. So, PC for the study, Tablet for everyday ad hoc use. I also find Tablets good for taking on holidays, especially ones with USB ports making it easy to back-up photos and videos to a portable USB hard drive. I tend to prefer the Surface tablet because it runs Windows so it compatible with my PCs, but there's honestly not much in it. My main conclusion is that a Tablet is a nice-to-have if you already have a PC. I'd never consider one if I didn't already have a PC for doing serious work.
