LPS Rates
Just received the LPS Rates letter yesterday in the post.
So households only got a 2 month reprieve from paying rates, yet an all recycling centres only back open (not taking all materials), leisure centres remain closed, parks only back open.
I thought the minister announced a 3 month reprieve for households? So businesses get a full 12 months not having to pay rates but also get grants(s) and loans and could possibly be open again come end of summer!!!
Will businesses be made accountable and pay this back?
OD £2,500 cleared onto Money Transfer

There is no reprieve for private rates, its the full bill as usual and if paid by direct debit, over 10 months as usual commencing 30 June https://www.nidirect.gov.uk/articles/coronavirus-covid-19-and-delay-rate-bills2

All the LPS did was delay sending out the rates bill for this year - if you pay by direct debit then it will still be due over the normal 10 months, or a one-off payment in full (with the normal 4% reduction) which is payable at the end of this month.
There was no reprieve - just.a delay in their publication.
