Be careful - with you not using it for 2 months, you may have demonstrated that is it not needed.
Very very unlikely that'll happen given the government told everyone to stay at home and only go out for essential reasons.

I would have thought the Lloyds account would be OK. if it's not overdrawn and you have no other Lloyds debts.

Cash in hand is safest though

I lost my job back in February and my mind Come to think of it. Made some decisions I wish I hadn’t now. ie car insurance. Just wasn’t sure at the time about finances Or anything and I had to claim UC which they did muck up my first payment. I was very ill and not thinking straight or clearly. But I’ve come to terms with the fact that I will loose my car!

No I have no debt with my bank. No overdraft. I’m going to get a Barclays basic account tomorrow just in case Lloyd’s do close my account, I don’t want to rely on it staying open and not have a back up.

You may be given the opportunity to buy your car back if that is what you want to do.

I wonder if all of us feel the same the day before applying for bankruptcy. I’m feeling very defeated and ashamed!

I would love that but it won’t happen, my family have helped me out enough. Just I’ve had it 4 years all paid for and I know it so well. I haven’t been without a car in 20 years. Hence why I feel so defeated.

My car was valued at £1800 and I got to keep it.
It was a requirement of my job that I had transport so it was a genuine need

I know of quite a few cases where a car was SORN and was taken as an asset.
