Debt Advice - Finding old debts

First time poster.  In my past i was very reckless with money, starting at uni but really kicking in when my dad died.  I was drinking, gambling and all sorts.  I am now, well i think i am, debt free.  My debt was all payday loans and i did not keep track of them.  I reckon i borrowed near on 10,000 pounds over the period but i am worried about any aged debt. I have had three addresses in this period and i have done credit reports against all three and its showing all clear.  I still get random phone calls but is that par for the course as my details are well and truly out there? 
A company called Westcot called today but i was unable to get back in contact.  Can someone assist with how i will be able to locate anything which could be more than 5 years old, or does everything show on credit reports these days?

If a debt gets to more than 6 years since it defaulted, and you haven't acknowledged it by payment or in writing during that period, and the lender has not started a court claim - then it becomes Statute Barred and effectively that is the debt gone.

So trying to dig things up that are more than 5 years old is not something I'd recommend.

Your credit report will tie your addresses together so if anyone wants to get in touch with you they can, and that includes wescot.

So I would say to wait for the letters and deal with things one at a time.

Your credit file is clear so you can get on with your life.
