Should I supply a copy of my credit file?

Hello! I hope some of you will be able to offer some advice... And apologies if this been previously covered but I couldn’t find anything :)
I recently complained to a company as they have changed the default date of a debt so it’s never been removed from my file. I believe they’ve actually done this twice. They’ve asked for a screenshot of my credit file but don’t they see that information? I’m suspicious of their motives so wondered what other people think.  In the interim, I’ve asked them why and asked them to clarify what they’re looking for. Thank you!

    Hi,
More detail required here, who is "the company" concerned, what type of debt is/was it ?
Have you ever received a default notice ?
Your under no obligation to provide them with any personal information whatsoever.
I would send a SAR request and see what information they currently hold on you, if they have been messing about with your data, the ICO would be very interested.

The company is Arrow Global and it was a credit card debt defaulted around 2003/4. The default date is now showing as 2015 which I know is not correct. I’ve not received a default notice from them... actually over the last 10+ years I’ve had no correspondence from them whatsoever.  I’ve repeatedly tried to get it removed via Noddle (TransUnion I think they’re called now?) and always been refused. I’d finally had enough and with having more time on my hands decided to sort it for once and for all. I’ll definitely send a SAR request - thank you for your advice :)
