barclays are telling me I can’t have internet banking or the app as I’m bankrupt? I’ve asked them to get someone from the insolvency team to call me and explain everything as too much inconsistency in the info

If this is the case I’ll just be transferring money out when it goes in. I can’t find anything that says the basic account only allows internet and mobile banking unless your bankrupt. There are also plenty of people who do have access according to this forum0

Well worth having a look at Monzo.0

I have a nationwide account too. My plan was for DD to come out of the Barclays and my spends and savings to be at nationwide. My wages are set to go into there. Tax credits and child benefit go into the Barclays as I didn’t have the nationwide details when I had to change it in time for next payment. This was also the second change as I’d moved it to Barclays then discovered it wasn’t a basic account so had to switch. I’m concerned about asking tax credits to change bank account a third time in 3 months as they said they investigate if repeated changes when I last changed it.0
