Civil service mark time transfer

I am in the process of applying for a new job in the civil service. I am an existing civil servant and I transferred from one department to another last year meaning my salary is made up of £33000 and £4000 paid separately each month as a ‘Mark time’ payment.
I’ve searched all policy and I can’t work out if my salary on transfer will be the basic or if it will include the marked time? I am going to ask them once it gets to that point but until then I was wondering if anyone else had been in this situation and could let me know what happened to them?

If you are now voluntary applying for a new post I would expect you to lose the mark time additional payment."You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "1

It depends on the policy of the department you're applying to, and whether this is level transfer? The civil service is actually quite good at publishing this type of thing -' this guidance has info. https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/867702/Transfers-within-the-Civil-Service-employees-guide.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwiXp4DbhcPpAhVkoXEKHYtsC2AQFjALegQIAxAB&usg=AOvVaw2sAqdCDwOq3QwK09t3UtNk&cshid=1589998580344

It’s technically a level transfer (it’s the HMRC graduate scheme so a T band whilst training which is think is the same as a HO which I am at the minute). I’ve read the guidance online but it’s not clear what would happen in my situation (unless I have misunderstood it). My salary plus mark time would place me in the middle of the advertised band for the new role it’s just whether they would treat the total as my salary or just the bit without mark time.0

Having just looked at some pay scales, I'm assuming you're London based for the £33k basic salary? the extra £4k would put you at the top of many of the H / PB4 (this is what I'm assuming you mean) scales, rather than the middle. If you're on national wages, then your basic without marked time will probably be over the top end of that band.1 -
In my long (and undistinguished) Civil Service career when this happens you will move to the appropriate pay point in your new department and as others have stated , you will most probably lose the mark time payment as you are signing a new employment contract.1

I thought that might be the answer! Think I will still go for it as it’s a great opportunity but at least I’m ready for the bad news when it comes- thank you for the advice.
Im not London based I was in a department that paid a lot higher for a EO position meaning when I applied somewhere else on promotion mark time would have to kick in. My basic now is slightly higher than the minimum for HMRC so at least it’ll be a bit of a boost- as it’s the grad scheme the pay scale is slightly different.0
